Angelique Marshall
Angelique Marshall serves as the Director of Ms. P’s Child & Family Services. She started this business venture in 2002. She began her career working at Hospital for Children with special needs, where she worked in the outreach department the childcare unit and the after-school program.
Angelique combines her business management experience with her knowledge of education and the application of intellectual and developmental disabilities of children and adults. As she has spent many years working to promote economic security, health, and education for DC families to make DC a better place where families can survive and thrive. She is a home-based childcare educator who advocates for children with special needs, a certified trainer for the Office of the State Superintendent of Education, an entrepreneur, a notary, a CPR instructor, a Certified addiction counselor, and a mother of a daughter with disabilities. Ms. Marshall saw the need in the community to give families access to quality care from someone who understood.
Angelique earned a bachelor’s degree from The University of the District of Columbia and is currently enrolled in the master’s degree program. She has six children and 15 grandchildren whom she enjoys.
Angelique Marshall se desempeña como Directora de Ms. P’s Child & Family Services. Empezó esta aventura empresarial en 2002. Comenzó su carrera trabajando en el Hospital para Niños con Necesidades Especiales, donde trabajó en el departamento de extensión, la unidad de cuidado infantil y el programa extracurricular.
Angelique Marshall combina su experiencia con la gestión empresarial, y la educación y aplicación de las discapacidades intelectuales y del desarrollo de niños y adultos. Es educadora de cuidado infantil en el hogar, que aboga por niños con necesidades especiales; asesora certificada por la Oficina del Superintendente de Educación del Estado; empresaria; notaria; instructora de CPR y consejera de adición certificada, y madre de una hija con discapacidades. La Sra. Marshall vio la necesidad en la comunidad de dar a las familias acceso a una atención de calidad de alguien que entendiera.
Angelique obtuvo una licenciatura de The University of the District of Columbia y actualmente está inscrita en el programa de maestría. Tiene seis hijos y 15 nietos que disfruta.
