Bweikia Foster Steen

Bweikia Foster Steen is an Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education at George Mason University. She has taught on the collegiate level at California State University, East Bay, New York University, and Trinity Washington University. Dr. Steen received her doctorate from the University of San Francisco in International and Multicultural Education. Her research explores policies and practices that promote social-emotional and academic excellence among children of color during the early years.
