Owner and Director Kings & Queens Child Care Center + Executive Director, D.C. Family Child Care Association

Cynthia Davis is the founder and Owner/Director of Kings & Queens Child Care Center, “the place where every child is royalty.” Cynthia worked as a contractor for the Department of Justice for 23 years and now as a Family Child Care Teacher for over 15 years. Cynthia believes that high-quality care begins with providing resources, predictable routines and opportunities for adventure and exploration for children, and support to families so they can thrive no matter their economic status. Cynthia received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education.

Cynthia is currently the Executive Director of the D.C. Family Child Care Association. Cynthia’s mission is to advocate and ensure that Family Child Care Teacher voices are heard and recognized for their dedication and contributions to the field of early childhood education.

Cynthia Davis es la fundadora y propietaria/directora de Kings & Queens Child Care Center, “el lugar donde cada niño es realeza”. Cynthia trabajó como contratista para el Departamento de Justicia durante 23 años y ahora como maestra de cuidado infantil familiar durante más de 15 años. Cynthia cree que la atención de alta calidad comienza con la provisión de recursos, rutinas predecibles y oportunidades de aventura y exploración para los niños, y apoyo a las familias para que puedan prosperar sin importar la situación económica. Cynthia recibió su Licenciatura en Educación Temprana.

Cynthia es actualmente la directora ejecutiva de D.C. Family Child Care Association. La misión de Cynthia es abogar y garantizar que las voces de los maestros de cuidado infantil familiar sean escuchadas y reconocidas por su dedicación y contribuciones al campo de la educación de la primera infancia.
