Rahshita Lowe-Watson is a kindergarten teacher for the District of Columbia Public Schools. She has 20 years of experience teaching in an early childhood classroom. Rahshita strongly believes in the power of the educators’ voice to revamp education. She has served on several education committees and participated in initiatives supporting educators, children, and their families. In 2021, she was selected for the inaugural National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) President’s Emerging Leaders Circle. Rahshita is the past secretary and current Vice President of Membership for the District of Columbia Association for the Education of Young Children (DCAEYC).

Rahshita holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. She has also earned a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education specializing in Bilingual/ESL from Erikson Institute in Chicago, IL.


Rahshita Lowe-Watson es maestra de jardín de infantes en Escuelas Públicas del Distrito de Columbia. Tiene veinte años de experiencia enseñando en un aula de niños pequeños.
