Lindsay J. Pearson, Ph.d.(c), Ed.M., IMH-E® IV
Lindsay Pearson is the Assistant Director of Early Childhood Educational Programming at Montclair State University’s Center for Autism and Early Childhood Mental Health. In this role, she leads the Pyramid Model Implementation Project.
She currently serves as Co-Chair of New Jersey’s Pyramid Model State Leadership Team, is Past President of the NJ Association for Infant Mental Health (NJAIMH) and, Past Vice Presi-dent of Public Policy and Advocacy for the New Jersey Association for The Education of Young Children (NJAEYC).
She is pursuing a Ph.D. in family sciences and human development at Montclair State University. The focus of her research is understanding the lived experience of preschool expulsion and identifying social emotional supports that could have prevented expulsion. She has worked in the early childhood field for over 20 years and considers the work an “occupassion”. She shares this passion in her full-time work and as an early childhood consultant.

Actualmente, se desempeña como copresidenta del Pyramid Model State Leadership Team de Nueva Jersey. Está cursando un doctorado en Ciencias de la Familia y Desarrollo Humano en la Universidad Estatal de Montclair. El objetivo de su investigación es comprender la experiencia vivida por los niños expulsados de la educación preescolar e identificar los apoyos socioemocionales que podrían haber evitado la expulsión. Ha trabajado en el campo de la primera infancia durante más de 20 años y considera este trabajo una ocupación que es también su pasión. Comparte esta pasión en su trabajo a tiempo completo y como consultora de la primera infancia.
